Our Story
Sweet Brothers Roofing was founded by Zachary Sweet, a Lamar University graduate and former Division I collegiate baseball player. During his years on the field, Zachary learned the value of discipline, teamwork, and perseverance — qualities that now shape the foundation of our company culture.
After college, Zachary spent five years working in the roofing industry, gaining valuable knowledge in both residential and commercial roofing. During that time, he witnessed firsthand how greatly the customer experience could vary from one company to another. Some companies focused only on volume. Others overlooked communication. Many rushed through projects without prioritizing craftsmanship or long-term durability.
Zachary knew there was a better way.
Motivated by a passion for the trade and a desire to raise the standard for customer care, he set out to build his own roofing company — one that genuinely puts customers first. That vision became Sweet Brothers Roofing.
Today, Zachary leads the company with the same values that shaped him as an athlete: hard work, integrity, accountability, and a commitment to always improving.
